About the planning tool

QIPPS has the capacity to plan a broad range of projects from small to very large complex projects. The tool guides the user through a process of needs assessment, planning and evaluation, encouraging a thorough research- and evidence-based approach. It has two main sections:

What do Qipps users like about the website?

Click-On help Supportive information and useful web links to resources.
Transfer information from other documents Information can be cut and pasted into the fields in the tool; links can be created to websites where documents are located.
No space limitations The fields in the QIPPS planning tools have unlimited capacity for you to enter as much or as little detail as your organisation requires.
Familiar MS Word features The QIPPS database allows you to enlarge the field you are currently working in so that all text can be viewed, and to utilise formatting features such as underline, italicise or bold or numbering/ bullet points.

 

Both subscribers and non-subscribers are welcome to access the QIPPS demonstration program. This fictitious program demonstrates the tool’s functions, in addition to modelling best practice answers to the questions posed in QIPPS.
