Context:
This demonstration project is designed to demonstrate both the QIPPS Individual Program Planning tool and the type of data that could be entered as a response to the questions on each page. It is a fictitious project which has been adapted from the Community Health Centre case study described in the Victorian Department of Human Services publication 'Planning for Effective Health Promotion Evaluation'. It is an example of best practise.
The executive summary of such a project might read as: An intersectoral approach to affirming diversity.
Example issue:
Mental health and well-being amongst same sex attracted young people, in a remote rural Shire, Happy Valley. Owing to the remote location young people often feel isolated and have limited access to peers, supports and facilities. Same sex attracted young people in particular experience high rates of depression and attempted suicide. |
